Day 80 - More Water

We've had lots of rain but the last few days the sun has been shining. But with the rains come many flooded fields. I love the contrast of the blue and green in this photo though, and I love clouds...you don't see them in the sky in this photo but you see the reflection. The sunny days after days of rain are the best....even though it's tough for the farmers, I do love how green everything is when there's so much rain.

Day 77 - eeeeeuuuuuwwwww!!

While I was taking some grad photos of a couple of beautiful young ladies, I really had a LOT of fun with this little brother! He was such a card and a lot of fun to capture with his expressions!

Day 76 - Caught ya!

I was out taking grad photos of a couple of lovely ladies...I like to have a little fun with them so I had caught this one comin outa the outhouse! :-) Just for kicks! Makes for fun photos!
But I love the contrast of the grays/whites of the outhouse, the purple of her dress and the green of the trees. Fun photo!

Day 75 - Lots of Ducks...no bucks!

With all the rain we've had, there's ducks making homes in every ditch and slough. Farmers fields are covered with water. They've either seeded and everything is drowned out or they haven't seeded yet because it's been too wet and now it's getting too late to get their crops in. Gotta feel for them.
But, it is neat to see all the different types of ducks that are within the camera's length to get a shot or two. :-)

Day 74 - Into the Sunset

When I was wanting to take a photo of the train tracks with the beautiful sunset that we had this night, as I was standing on the tracks I realized a train was coming up behind me right then. Hence, I moved off the tracks and was able to capture this cool shot instead....but I did not get my photo of the train tracks....another day though. I was quite pleased with this one though....and the previous one I posted of the train comin right at me. :-)

Day 73 - Train a comin

I was out for a bike ride and as i was going over the tracks, I stopped right on them cause I wanted to take a photo of the tracks against the beautiful sunset we were having at the moment. I heard something behind me, turned and OH! I better move up ahead and get off the tracks and therefore was able to capture this beauty!! I love it! :-)

Day 72 - Small village

When it rains, we get small towns of mushrooms growing all around. While I am still playing around with my super macro setting, I was able to get down low and capture these dainty little ones. :-) I love how the one on the bottom left is taking refuge under the covering of the bigger one. Reminds me of the One that I often take refuge in when the storms come and the rain falls...God is my fortress and my refuge..my stronghold in my time of need.

Day 71 - Reaching Out

With these dead branches, I am reminded of how when we are feeling dead and lifeless, how we reach out for life, for encouragement, for comfort..but often don't quite know where to reach out for those things. Branches often reach up and out....and we need to as well. God has placed many wonderful people in my life who are a great source of encouragement and support, and to laugh with as well. Only God can bring truth and the deepest source of life to our darkened souls.

Day 70 - Fluff

hee hee, I just realized that my "little" camera has a super macro setting on it. Yep, I am a photographer but sometimes I can be a little ditzy! :-) I bought a small digital for extra curricular photos when I don't always feel like lugging my big one around. I will enjoy experimenting a bit more with this super macro setting :-)

Day 69 - Blue/Gray Serenity

bein down by the water always brings such a calm peace to me...I love it. I love the cloud formations and the reflection on the water. No matter how big the storm, we can have a peace as we walk out on a limb through those storms and into unknown territory.
To me this photo is a picture of that.

Day 67 - 'Boots'

There's a fox den just on the outskirts of town and this little guy was brave for a bit and let me take a couple photos of him. Oh, he is soooo adorable! I love their little black boots when they're just pups!

with all the rain we've been getting, it sure was wonderful to see the sun, but there's still rain coming down in the distance as you can see....you can see the haze of moisture where the buildings are...made for a very cool photo
